Entertaiment in a Recession

Entertaiment

Entertaiment is a great way to take us to another world in an instant, a place where we forget our problems and we wish that this moment lasts forever. It is a state of euphoria that gives immense pleasure and we feel satiated after its completion. However, it is a well known fact that the entertainment industry has been facing many challenges lately due to recession. Business has been down for a lot of record and film companies. However, some independent recording artists, producers and filmmakers are still doing well with their entertainment businesses.

Note: The word entertain is derived from the Latin inter-tenere. The prefix inter means “inside,” and the suffix tenere comes from the Indo-European root ten, meaning to stretch or extend.
